The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is any data that can be used to identify you personally, i.e. to disclose or reveal the identity of the user. We adhere to the principle of data avoidance. As far as possible, we refrain from collecting personal data. For detailed information on the subject of data protection, please refer to our data protection declaration listed below this text.

We,

Inh. Simon Rothe

(hereinafter referred to as - ludicbrain -), take the protection of your data very seriously. We have therefore taken technical and organizational measures to ensure that the regulations on data protection are observed at ludicbrain.

The collection of your data takes place within the framework of the legal regulations. You can find comprehensive information about these at www.datenschutz.de. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. We would like to point out that data transmission on the Internet (e.g. when communicating by e-mail) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible. When sending confidential information, we therefore recommend sending it by post.

Basically:

If a user accesses our website (and its subsections) or retrieves a file from it, the data from this process is automatically stored in a log file on the server side each time. The storage is exclusively for internal system-related and statistical purposes and for the purpose of system security.

In detail, the following data record is automatically stored for each retrieval:

  • Name and path of the retrieved file
  • date and time of the retrieval
  • amount of data transferred
  • Message whether the retrieval was successful
  • Type and version number of the web browser used
  • type and version number of the operating system used
  • requesting domain (referrer URL)
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • IP address (anonymized)

This raw statistical data is deleted after 120 days. A combination of this data with other data sources is not made. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Collection and processing of personal data

When you visit our website, our web server temporarily stores the connection data of the requesting computer, the web pages you visit on our site, the date and duration of the visit, as well as data of the browser and operating system (type). Part of the data is collected to ensure error-free provision of the website. Other data may be used to analyze your user behavior. This data is evaluated anonymously for statistical purposes.

Personal data such as your name, address, telephone number or e-mail address are not collected unless you provide this information voluntarily, e.g. when contacting us via the contact form.

At this point, we would like to explicitly point out that we do not use Google Analytics on our website to protect your personal data! Likewise, we do not use social media links, plug-ins or other social sharing tools.

Use and disclosure of personal data, right to data portability

We use the personal data you provide solely for the purpose of technical administration of the websites and to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell, share or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties unless this is necessary to respond to your inquiry.

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.

Information, blocking, deletion, restriction of processing, right of revocation and right of appeal.

You have the right to receive information free of charge at any time about the origin, recipient and purpose of your stored personal data in accordance with Art. 15 DSGVO. You also have a right to rectification in accordance with Art. 16 DSGVO, of your incorrect personal data.

You have the right to demand that we delete the personal data concerning you without undue delay, in particular if one of the following reasons applies:

  • Your personal data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.
  • You revoke your consent on which the processing of your data was based and there is no other legal basis for the processing.
  • Your data has been processed unlawfully.

The right to erasure does not exist insofar as your personal data is required for the assertion, exercise or defense of our legal claims. Furthermore, you have the right to restrict processing (e.g. if you dispute the accuracy of the data or the processing is unlawful).

Furthermore, you have a right of revocation if the processing of your personal data is based on consent.

For this purpose, as well as for further questions on the subject of data protection, you can contact us at any time at the address given in the imprint. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. We store your personal data after the termination of the purpose for which the data was collected, only as long as this is required by law (especially tax law).

Cookies and sessions

A cookie contains typical data about visited websites which are basically used to store information of the website or domain locally on the computer for some time and to send it back to the server on request. Furthermore, cookies are used to authenticate visitors to the website. Here, a session ID is stored in the cookies.

When visiting our website, no cookie is set for the time being. The visitor has the free choice to accept or reject the setting of a cookie.

If the visitor does not agree to the cookie, a cookie is set that contains the information that one has rejected the cookie placement on the local computer. In order for the website to remember this setting, this cookie is set, which contains only this one piece of information. This cookie then contains the information "declined". The cookie is thus not tracked further and is valid for 1 year. The user is then no longer prompted to accept or reject further cookies.

If the visitor agrees to the cookie, a PHP session cookie is set the next time the page is accessed, which contains a random session ID. Session cookies are deleted again when the website visit is ended or when the browser is closed (browser-dependent and settings-dependent). All session data on the server is deleted from the server after 24 minutes of inactivity.

In our statistics, we store the value of the session cookie in the database in order to be able to track page views (e.g. session ID, page views, average time spent, last time spent, start date). However, this is not further associated with personalized data of any kind. This data does not provide any information about the actual visitor.

As soon as a session is terminated, i.e. when the session data on the server has been deleted, only the statistics entry in the database remains, in which the session IDs no longer have any meaning.

We ensure that no personal data is taken from sessions or by cookies and that cookies are only used if this is necessary for the website. Thus, the balancing shows that there are no overriding interests on your part (Art. 6 I f DSGVO).

Newsletter

If you register as a customer for our newsletter, we use the data required for this purpose or separately provided by you to send you our e-mail newsletter on a regular basis. Unsubscribing from the newsletter is possible at any time and can be done either by sending a message to us via the contact options provided in the imprint or via the link provided for this purpose in the newsletter.

Contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your data from the inquiry form including the contact data you provided there will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent. The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you entered in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after we have completed processing your request). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

Google Web Fonts

This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly. For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google's servers. This enables Google to know that our website has been accessed via your IP address. Google Web Fonts are used in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font will be used by your computer.

For more information about Google Web Fonts, see https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

Google Maps

This site uses the map service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission.

The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and an easy location of the places indicated by us on the website. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. More information on the handling of user data can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
